Where I write about myself in the third person

Jake Thornton was born in London and trained as an actor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He appeared with the Royal Shakespeare Company and in London's West End before his work brought him to the United States.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2007, he met Ben Lustig the following year. Their shared love of genre films led to a long-running screenwriting partnership.
In 2014, their screenplay Winter’s Knight, a Viking-inspired reimagining of the Santa Claus legend, was sold following a four-studio bidding war. They went on to work with studios and networks including Columbia, SyFy, Amazon, and Warner Bros. Television.
The pair also developed work involving Final Fantasy and wrote The Princess, which was released in 2022. Jake has continued to write for the screen while pursuing fiction, including his novel Milly Tipton and the Spirits of Christmas.
He lives in Camas, Washington, with his family.
